How to Calibrate a Sensor

In order to change a Sensor’s name you will need to have the Devices/Calibration/Edit permission enabled on your User Role. For more information on User Roles please see How to manage what your users can access.

To move a Sensor to a different Location, follow these steps:

1. Use the Location Selector on the left-hand sidebar to navigate to the Sensor you wish to calibrate.

2. Click on the Calibration option in the left-hand sidebar menu. 2. You can also click on the Calibration icon on the top right of the Sensor’s Dashboard.
3. Click on the relevant Calibrate [Measurement] button.
4. Take your calibration measurement at the physical location of the Sensor.
5. Check the live value is displayed and compare it with calibration measurement.
6. Should these be different, enter the calibration measurement reference value.
7. Click the Continue button on the bottom right of the form.
8. The calibration request will be transmitted to the Sensor and added to the calibration history visible below the form.
